All transportation equipment begin life on the CAD table before starting its journey through discrete manufacturing plants into the hands of supply chain operations. Modern digital models are created at every step of this process and connecting those data sets and models are key to a "whole data life-cycle". Using this data across its life (cradle to grave) has been a vision for many companies that is now coming into reality.
