Outotec has developed many breakthrough technologies over the decades for their customers in metals and mining industry. PI System is the core of Outotec's Remote Services. Production sites all over the world are sending data to the global data archive where it is stored, structured and analyzed and from where it can be provided for other systems when necessary. Data is presented for different stakeholders via web based Remote Service Portal that is developed in Outotec. With Remote Services Outotec is aiming for much faster problem solving process compared to the traditional service offering. It is possible to utilize Outotec experts in their home offices to improve and optimize the customers’ production processes.
